Reasons for collecting Nike air max shoes

Collection is a hobby of many people, some are fond of collecting stamps, some are fond of collecting cans, a group of people like to collecting Nike air max shoes, especially limited edition. You can see a lot of people night line up, they get excited shoes. They don't wear them, just treasure it. Why? Go and look the reasons belong.

Nike always an important moment. At 08,June,2010, Diamond League Bislett Games in Oslo, Kenenisa's younger brother Tariku Bekele emerged all smiles, finishing second with a 5K time of 12:53.97. Bernard Lagat was right behind him, taking third place and shaving two seconds off the 5K American record with a time of 12:54.12. Fellow American Chris Solinsky, the only non-African runner
on the field, finished sixth with a personal record of 12:56.66, the third-fastest time ever by an American.

Nike respect the heat. Wearing Nike trainers shoes ran in the northern hemisphere, did you try? It's simple. You run slower in the heat; you run slower in humidity; if it's hot and humid you'll run significantly slower than on a cool, dry night. Now, you're probably thinking, "Great. I won't be able to run this summer in my town where it can be air max 90 plus degrees with 80 percent humidity." Not true. You can run, but you have to do three important things when training seriously in the heat of the summer. Just enjoy the summer months, but be willing to alter your training in the heat.

In 2001, Nike Shoes developed Nike Shox with the technology of cushioning, and the sales performance rising for a long time. This stylish achieve a lot of applause in the market. NIKE brand symbolizes the Greek goddess of victory, on behalf of the wings of the feather and speed, also represents dynamism and gentle. Correct indetify Nike Air Max for life insurance

It is really surprise that if you enter "Nike Air Max " and "Air Max 90" as keywords, they will appear two types of shoes. Why this happened? As a Nike fun, it is easy for you to recognize what is the difference between them. But this article just tell those who likes Nike, but afraid of owning general Dunk instead of Nike air max .

Nike air max is a series blong to Nike Dunk. But it is different from general Nike Dunks. Nike SB stands for skateboarding, the disigners first idea comes from youngers who love skatboard. Friction of general Nike shoes can not match meteral of skatboard. It is necessary for Nike to product new series to satisfied customers need.

But going to store seems a little hot in summer. In fast way, people would like to buy Nike air max online. The Nike air are available from authorized retailers for under $100 but demand has driven the prices up to more than $1,000. The demand has also created fake Nike SB Dunks, so it's important to know what the real shoes look like before you purchase a pair

Nike air max 90 unique design Zoom Air insoles, padded tongues and are made in smaller quantities for the most part giving them that smaller supply/higher demand attribute. It can strengthen centrifugal force both shoes and skatboard, ruduce the occasion of falling down. Also the difference between them is the nike dunk sb's come in alot of different rare styles and color. They are hard to find authentic for a good price. But the only place to get them 100% authentic and at a good price is at a skateboarding store. So it is important for you to find the real Nike SB Dunks.

1.Look at and feel the tongues of the Nike SB Dunks. Authentic Nike SB Dunks will have thick, curved tongues that are "V" or "U" shaped. Fake shoes have flat tongues with a square shape.

2.Remove the shoes from the box. There should be a clear plastic bag attached to the shoes. The resealable bag should hold spare laces for the Nike SB Dunks. An authentic bag measures 7.5 cm wide and is 13.5 cm high. A real Nike SB Dunk shoelace bag should have a solid black "Nike" and the swoosh, with "SB" underneath. On the fake bags, the print looks like it has been painted on. Sometimes, the printing is sketchy and poor quality.

3.Check the spare shoelaces in the bag. They should be a different color than what's in the Nike SB Dunks. Real laces are wide and flattish. Often, fake laces that come with the shoes are thin and round.

4.Examine the Nike SB Dunks box. They have come in an orange box (first and second series), a silver box with a green label (third series), a silver box with an orange label, pink box with a black label, pink box with an orange label and a black and purple box with a black label. Off-colored boxes are a sign of a Nike fake.

5.Turn the shoes over and look at the soles. Real Nike SB Dunks will have "Nike" and the registered trademark sign, as well as a "swoosh" and the trademark sign. These will be molded, raised and positioned in the middle of the shoes. If the signs are lower in height than the other markings, the Nike air max 2009 are fakes.

6.Examine the trademark Nike "swoosh" emblems on the shoes. Fake shoes have a noticeably thin or thick "swoosh." The stitching that attaches the emblem to the shoes is often not along the edges. It tends to run inwards.

7.Examine the "NIKE" embroidered on the back of the shoes. If the letters are not thick, but are rather thin, the shoes are probably fakes. Another sign of a fake is that the letters--especially the "E"--might not be properly spaced. It's often spaced further away from the other letters.

A good Nike air max shoes for skatboard is very important. Can fake Nike SB shoes ensure your safety? Can you agree pay genious money but owning a fake one? It is time to polish your eyes.

The Big Players - Nike air max

Nike shoes are among the best brands of shoes today. The quality of their products is extremely good and they have lots of different types of shoes for different sport as well as for casual wear. Nike dominated the market for a long time, they were among the first sports brands to release their products into the market and of course, were hugely successful. The Nike air max 2010 craze caught on, like wildfire. For several years, Nike was the choice of brand for sports professionals and athletes.

Nike air max shoes even became the first fashion brand, to associate itself with music, especially hip hop and their clothing line also made its mark in the fashion industry. The company started off, as a humble venture by two brothers- the Dassler brothers, in Germany. They were basically slipper makers, one day, while selling shoes for tennis players, they figured out how to design specific shoes for specific sports, by studying the kinematics involved. But a family feud, led these two brothers to split up, and Puma was born. But that’s another story.

But neither of the two big companies – air max 90 or Puma recognized the potential threat of a small American company, based in Oregon, called Nike! Nike produces great shoes of good quality and is probably the biggest, most popular and best brand of sports shoes of our times. They have a great range of shoes and sneakers suited for all sports.

Probably, the only think that Nike needs to improve upon is the cost factor. Nike’s shoes and sneakers are a bit more expensive than that of the other brands. They are well worth it, because of their durability and quality and their large variety, but, for many people, cost is the biggest deciding factor when it comes to making a purchase.

Nike was founded in the year 1972, and gained more popularity over Adidas because it had a wider range of colors and styles and hence a much larger variety of shoes designed to cater to people of all age groups. In the 1980s, Nike completely overthrew nike and the sales figures of nike air max 90 showed a distinctive slump, and Nike’s rose. Moreover, Nike did a whole lot of things to promote its shoes, not least of which was the concept of Nike Jordan’s, with the all-time basketball great, Michael Jordan as its ambassador.

Now, most athletes prefer Nike shoes, because of their great quality. But Nike air max 2009 are also not far behind in the race. Nike air max  has also begun it’s resurgence, and what a comeback they have made, so now it’s Nike vs. Nike, neck to neck!

Popovich marvels at slimmer

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Thursday that Duncan returned this summer for his 14th season perhaps in even better shape than a year ago, nike air max shoes when the perennial All-Star reported to training camp 15 pounds lighter."He's trim and slim. I think he's even slimmer than he was last year," Popovich said. "He's really serious about this. He knows his responsibilities. He wants to win again."

Popovich met with reporters in San Antonio for the first time since Phoenix swept the Spurs from the Western Conference semifinals in May. He'll open training camp Sept. 27 with Duncan, who turns 35 this season, leading what is a mostly unchanged Spurs roster.Wholesale Air Max 2009 San Antonio is still built to go only as far as Duncan can take them. But he'll get some long-overdue frontcourt help with the addition of 7-footer Tiago Splitter, the marquee signing for the Spurs in an otherwise quiet offseason.

"He'll come in running, so to speak, and not have a problem," Popovich said.Popovich didn't say how much lighter Duncan might have come back. But like last summer, Duncan pushed back and toned down his old preseason regiments in hopes of keeping his body fresher come spring.Duncan got off to a roaring start in the playoffs last year against Dallas though still finished the season averaging 17.9 points and 10.1 rebounds, both career lows. He has two years left on his contract.

Originally drafted by the Spurs in 2007,nike air max 90 Splitter is a former MVP and championship winner in the Spanish League. He joins the Spurs amid high expectations -- Popovich compared Splitter's NBA-readiness to Manu Ginobili's arrival in 2002.That doesn't mean Splitter will be a go-to scorer. Popovich said the Brazilian's biggest impact will instead be rebounding and defense, but those contributions should be immediate.

Ginobili, 33, is starting a new three-year extension while Tony Parker isn't signed past this season."Fantastic means have an opportunity to win a championship, wholesale air max 90 and that's what we're always looking for here," Popovich said. "There's no reason why this group can't do it, but there are also probably 10 teams in the league that feel they have that opportunity."

Pressured, Nike air max to Help Workers in Honduras

“Nike plays a key role in setting up the worldwide apparel system that its contractors and subcontractors work in,” Mr. Bores said. “Nike air max plays factory against factory, causing them to shave a penny here and a penny there, creating an ultra-competitive environment that drives down wages and gives factory owners virtually no choice but to disrespect workers’ basic rights.”

United Students Against Sweatshops estimated that Nike’s air max 90 total payments, including those for health coverage and training, would exceed $2 million. Even with Monday’s agreement, Ms. Meyers said her company would stick to its position that contractors and subcontractors were responsible for obligations like severance pay. Workers’ rights groups say that while many brands boast that they are complying with codes of conduct to protect workers, the brands at the same time balk at assuming responsibilities when contractors’ violate their obligations to their workers.

Jane L. Collins, a University of Wisconsin sociology professor who is on the school’s licensing committee, which called on the university to end its licensing agreement with Nike air max 2009, said, “If apparel companies can’t take responsibility for the factories where they have contracts, they can’t claim to be adhering to a code of conduct.” Officials at several universities had warned Nike that unless it settled the dispute, it would face larger protests once the fall semester began.

Last November, the student movement against sweatshops got Russell Athletic to agree to rehire 1,200 workers in Honduras who lost their jobs when the company closed their factory soon after the workers had unionized. The students had persuaded 100 universities to sever or suspend their licensing agreements with Russell.

Explaining Monday’s agreement, Jack Mahoney, national organizer for United Students Against Sweatshops, said, “After we got over 100 universities to boycott Russell, Nike air max 90 understood the university pressure would not simply go away.”

Coach K takes young U.S. team

It's not a reality show or a weight-loss gimmick. It's the task of taking 12 guys who have never played basketball together and turning them into the best in the world ... in just six weeks.
Now, of those 12 players, only one has ever played center. Only three were NBA All-Stars last season. Only five are old enough to rent a car. And nine of them -- two-thirds of the team -- never have played under the rules that will be used nike air max over the six weeks.

That has been the challenge facing Mike Krzyzewski this summer. As the head coach of the U.S. National Team readies his 12 guys for the semifinals in the FIBA World Championship, even his harshest critics now will have to admit: He's been up to the challenge.

Krzyzewski clearly loves this challenge. With college recruiting over for air max 2009  the summer, he could have spent the last month relaxing and preparing for the upcoming season at Duke. But he'd much rather be spending his days on the practice floor and his nights in a hotel ballroom watching film.

"I've grown to really respect him so much more just playing for him and seeing how much he puts into this," Chauncey Billups says. "He's so passionate. He's up late hours watching film. He's all-in."

"His passion for the game is so high," adds U.S. assistant coach Jay Triano, who has been a part of the USA Basketball program since 2007, but hasn't been with the team during an international competition before this year. Triano says it's Krzyzewski's "competitive drive" that has stood out the most. At moments during their film sessions, Triano says, nike air max 24-7 Krzyzewski will suddenly stop the tape, turn to the rest of the staff and say, "We have to win this game!"

"You put him in a situation where you want to win something, you want him on your side," Triano says.

Krzyzewski clearly knows how to transfer that drive to his players, too.

"It doesn't make any difference who they are or what level of stardom that they have, he connects with them," Colangelo says. "And what I have sensed since we've been together is that the players are very responsive to him."

"When he speaks, you listen," Kevin Love admits. "He gets us fired up to play big time."

"What you want to do is put enough in that doesn't make them non-instinctive," he says. "We put in enough and allow some slippage, where it's not completely right, just so that we don't become basically anal in making something perfect. And hopefully attitude and speed can make up for it. It's just very unusual and it's unlike the other [international] teams, because they have that continuity [of returning players]."

In the end, the American players will end up playing just nine games that count. But the trip to get to those games, from New York to Madrid to Athens to Istanbul, has been a grind. It's been more than a month since the American players last slept in their own beds. Part of Krzyzewski's job is to keep both their bodies and minds fresh.

"We throw information at him all the time," Triano says. "And one of his strengths is regulating what is too much and what is not enough."

Instead of worrying about his team's lack of experience,  nike air max 2010 Krzyzewski has tried to turn its youth into a positive by getting them to play with more energy than their opponent. Instead of trying to adjust to the opponent's size advantage, he has forced other teams to deal with the Americans' speed and athleticism.

"When you're watching film, the things he talks about really show in the game," Kevin Durant, the team's biggest star, says. "And that's something that's very special. I really haven't seen it too much in a coach that he really knows in depth about every possession, every play and plays ahead."

At Duke, Krzyzewski has won 12 ACC championships, been to the Final Four 11 times and captured four national championships. He led Team USA to an Olympic gold medal in 2008. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001.

But if he can win the 2010 FIBA World Championship here in Istanbul with what many have called the USA's "B Team," the accomplishment should go near the top of his very long list of accolades.

"Regardless of what takes place in these remaining games, it's been an amazing job, considering that we've completely turned over the roster since '08," Colangelo says . nike air max 2009  "It's always challenging when you're bringing new people together. But I'm not sure it could have worked any better."

NBA players who could be deal with trade deadline

Though it definitely seemed like the world had stopped when LeBron James and Chris Bosh flew south back at the start of the summer, the truth is there could still be nike air max 24-7 plenty more movement even after the 2010-11 season begins.

Here are a handful of players who may not currently be on the market, but nevertheless could find themselves changing teams before the February trading deadline:

Chauncey Billups -- Not that the veteran point guard is looking to leave his hometown. But it could simply be a move that makes sense if the front office isn't able to get nike air max 2010 Carmelo Anthony to agree to terms on a contract extension. If the linchpin of the franchise isn't going to commit himself to Denver, then it only makes sense for the Nuggets to go into a complete rebuilding mode. J.R. Smith, Nene and Kenyon Martin are also eligible to become free agents next summer and that means a 34-year-old quarterback like Billups could be most valuable as a commodity to bring in a young player or draft pick while he's still on top of his game.

It's all about the usual, trying to keep up with the Lakers and Celtics at the top of each conference, not to mention the nouveau rich Heat. But it's also about the unusual and the unknown. With labor unrest playing the background music and a lockout looming next July that has the potential to put the league on the shelf for quite nike air max 2009 some time, there are a lot of teams that might be willing to make bold moves before the landscape of the league changes dramatically under the rules of a new collective bargaining agreement.
Andrei Kirilenko -- AK-47 seems to have pulled out of the funk that made him an expensive nuisance for a couple of seasons. Now he's just expensive, scheduled to make close to $18 million in the last year of his contract. The Jazz recovered shrewdly from Carlos Boozer's free agent departure to Chicago by reeling in Al Jefferson to anchor the front line. But the long-term biggest concern is getting Deron Williams to make a commitment to Utah when his option comes up in two seasons. Kirilenko is as useful as a Swiss Army knife at both ends of the floor, but he's never going to be more than a third or fourth option with the Jazz, who are stuck in the middle of the Western Conference pack. His skills could help a would-be playoff team on the bubble or solidify an elite team that's already a contender. A deal could land the Jazz a nice package that convinces Williams to stick around.

Jeff Green -- Why in the world would the up-and-coming Thunder even think about breaking up their young threesome that includes Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook? It's the usual one-word answer: money.

Andre Iguodala -- Maybe his time spent this summer with the U.S. team at the FIBA World Championship will give Iguodala the experience and the confidence to return to Philadelphia and finally drag the Sixers to the next level. They've been waiting on the gifted slasher and scorer for air max 90 six seasons now to act like the top dog, but he's shown more occasional bark than consistent bite. Now it's new coach Doug Collins' job to turn the key and unlock what is still unfulfilled potential. But if he's not getting through by midseason, there is every reason to think that the Sixers would turn the future over to No. 2 draft pick Evan Turner, who plays the same position, and send Iggy off to bloom in another location. Patience is not usually a Philly virtue.
Oklahoma City just signed Durant to a new deal that will cost -- and be worth -- every cent of $85 million and they've got Westbrook standing in line waiting for his payday. It's just not as simple as having the ATM spit out a fortune to everyone who is next in line. The Thunder invested the No. 3 pick in the 2009 draft on James Harden and expect him to steadily take on a bigger role and minutes. Up front they now have Cole Aldrich moving into the lineup. Green would naturally be a small forward on most teams, but that's the domain of the out-of-this-world Durant. There are going to be times in the development of the Thunder as a small-market contender when some of the decisions will have to be made with an eye on the bottom line and this is one.

Jason Thompson -- He's everything you might want in a young big man -- 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds a game last season -- and that would seem to be a reason you'd want to make him part of the foundation on a team that's building over. Except that in just over six months, the Kings have traded for Carl Landry and Samuel Dalembert and drafted DeMarcus Cousins, making for an awfully crowded frontline. That would seem to make Thompson the odd man out or at least the one who has to prove himself all over again as worthy of significant playing time. air max 24-7 Is he really ready to cede all those minutes to Cousins and Landry and just be happy as a backup when there are plenty of teams that could use and appreciate his inside skills?

Deep 3-pointer helps Serbia defending champion impact Spain

Serbia knocked defending champ Spain out of the world championship Wednesday when Milos Teodosic made a long 3-pointer with 3.1 seconds left for a 92-89 quarterfinal victory.

"He's a great player and he has a great nike air max feeling for the big shot," Spain coach Sergio Scariolo said.

The Spaniards couldn't get a final shot off, with Jorge Garbajosa losing the ball after a timeout. Serbia's players celebrated at midcourt as Spain's Sergio Llull kicked the ball deep into the stands.

"I think it was a very, very tough game. Maybe the best one until now in Istanbul," Serbia coach Dusan Ivkovic said.

Spain erased an eight-point deficit in the final 4 minutes to tie it on Marc Gasol's basket with 25 seconds remaining. After a timeout, Serbia patiently ran its offense until Teodosic -- 1 of 7 on 3-pointers at that point -- pulled up from straightaway, well beyond the arc.

Avenging a loss in last year's European championship game, Serbia advanced to face Turkey in a semifinal game Saturday. air max 2009 The hosts remained unbeaten with a 95-68 victory over Slovenia later Wednesday.

"It's very difficult to forget this kind of game, but we have to try to forget everything that happened tonight because in two days we will play in the semifinals," Teodosic said.

Marko Keselj and Novica Velickovic scored 17 points apiece for Serbia, while Dusko Savanovic added 15. The Serbians were 15 of 30 from 3-point range, exploiting the zone seemingly every time Spain used it.

Navarro scored 27 points and Garbajosa, the former Toronto Raptors forward who recovered from a severe leg injury, added 18.

But the Spaniards, considered the co-favorites along with the United States coming into the tournament, lost for the third time in Turkey. They were without their best player, Lakers All-Star Pau Gasol, then lost point guard Jose Calderon of the Raptors shortly before the tournament.

The champions in Japan four years ago nike air max 24-7 now will be forced to qualify for the 2012 Olympics at next year's European championship.

"We were not able to stop them on the long shots," Spain guard Juan Carlos Navarro said. "That's why we lost and I believe that's why they deserved to win."

Teodosic, one of the two Serbia players suspended for a brawl in an exhibition game against Greece, finished with 12 points. Center Nenad Krstic of the Oklahoma City Thunder, nike air max 2010 the other suspended Serb, finished with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Notes from BRA 89, ARG 93

The round of 16 concluded with the best game of the 2010 World Championship thus far. From start to finish, this was a beautiful display of basketball, and it’s a shame nike air max that one of these two teams had to go home early.

That team is Brazil, with Argentina advancing to the quarterfinals with a 93-89 victory on Tuesday night. Both of these teams executed brilliantly in a win-or-go-home air max 2009 situation, and in the end, Argentina had Luis Scola, and Brazil did not.

Scola has clearly been the MVP of this tournament thus far, and apparently his 29-point average in pool play was just an appetizer for the medal rounds. He dropped 37 on Brazil, to go along with nine rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Most of his production came off pick-and-roll or pick-and-pop action with point guard Pablo Prigioni. But he also had a gorgeous running bank shot off a slip-and-dish from Carlos Delfino. Then there was a great weak-side cut down the middle of the lane off a Prigioni-Fabricio Oberto pick-and-roll.

On the other nike air max 2009 end of the floor, Brazilian point guard Marcelo Huertas was almost as brilliant as Scola. Huertas wasn’t dishing out assists like he did in the first half against the U.S. last week, but rather was getting to the rim off high screen-and-rolls. He also hit a few pull-up threes when the Argentine defenders backed off, finishing with 32 points on 10-for-16 shooting.

It was a ridiculously efficient game overall, with the two teams combining to shoot 56 percent from the field and score 182 points on 131 possessions, which translates to 139 points per 100. As a reference, the overall efficiency of the tournament before Tuesday’s games was about 105 points per 100 possessions.

The biggest bucket of the night was a pick-and-pop 18-footer that gave Argentina a five-point lead with 24 seconds to go. Brazil never got a chance to tie or take the lead after that.
So Argentina will play Lithuania on Thursday, with the winner playing the winner of the USA-Russia game in the semifinals. Argentina and the U.S. are both strong favorites to win those games, of course. And there’s no doubt that, with the Americans lacking interior defense, Scola and crew would definitely be a serious threat to knock them off.

I imagine that with his two big performances in this tournament (last Monday against the U.S. and tonight against Argentina), Huertas opened the eyes of some decision-makers around the NBA. He helped Caja Laboral to the ACB (Spanish league) title last season and, nike air max 2010 according to my new friend PlanetGornik, the 27 year old Huertas is under contract for two more years.

I’ve written this before, but it’s amazing how much better of a player Carlos Delfino is with his national team. With Manu Ginobili resting this summer, Delfino is his team’s only real perimeter scorer. And when he’s playing well, Delfino (a 40 percent shooter from 3-point range over his five NBA seasons) can really take advantage of the shorter arc. He was 4-for-7 from downtown on Tuesday.
It was interesting to see Argentina coach Sergio Hernandez make offense-defense substitutions at point guard throughout the first half, bringing in Luis Cequeira for Prigioni if there was a dead ball before a defensive possessions. Cequeria was a bit of a pest for Huertas nike air max 24-7, but his aggressiveness got him in trouble at times. It allowed the Brazilian bigs to screen him easily, and he gave Brazil a few free points by fouling on the perimeter in bonus situations.

Jamal Crawford have been made inquiries

Making demands is all the rage now. Chris Paul, Rudy Fernandez, Carmelo Anthony and Jamal Crawford have all made some kind of request to their nike air max current team whether it be a trade, a contract extension or both.

So that means that Crawford very likely is on the market. Cunningham reports at least three teams have asked about Crawford's availability. But here's the twist: Those inquiries were made before the pay-me-or-trade me move. The Hawks said thanks but no thanks and moved on. So if nike air max 24-7 general manager Rick Sund decides trading Crawford is his move, he's got at least three lines he can ring to try and re-establish negotiations.
Jamal Crawford informed the Hawks last week that he wanted an extension before the new CBA or he wants a trade out of Atlanta. You know, air max 2009 the classic pay-me-or-trade-me move. And as of now, it's looking like an extension for Crawford isn't the Hawks top priority. Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution says Rick Sund plans on focusing on Al Hordford before anything else. The Hawks can offer Horford an extension that starts in 2011-12 and is worth up to $82 million over five years. The deadline for a deal is Oct. 31.

The Hawks want to keep Crawford. But after shelling out major money to Joe Johnson ($120 million to be exact) and now with Horford's extension coming, Crawford is getting squeezed. The more you win, the more players want. Crawford knows he was a big part of Atlanta's success and he's not pumped watching his teammates get paychecks while he has to sit and wait for the new CBA to potentially hurt him. The ball is in Sund's court and by the sound of it, if he can't reach an nike air max 2010 agreement with Crawford, he already has a couple teams to play ball with.

Game comes down to free throws as Nike Serbia nips Croatia

Oklahoma City Thunder center Nenad Krstic had 16 points and Aleksander Rasic scored five points in the last 21 seconds to help Serbia edge Croatia 73-72 in the round nike air max of 16 at the basketball world championship Saturday.

Croatian guard Marko Popovic made two free throws with 5 seconds left to tie the game at 72, but Rasic was fouled by Davor Kus as he attempted a shot with 1 second left.

Rasic made a free throw and Croatia was eliminated when air max 2009 Popovic's full-court shot fell short as time expired.

"The game was very, very tough this night,'' Serbia coach Dusan Ivkovic said. "It was necessary to play 40 minutes just to beat a very good team like Croatia.''

Rasic finished with 15 points for Serbia.nike air max 24-7 Popovic led Croatia with 21 points, and Roko-Leni Ukic and Marko Banic 10 apiece.

"I'm not satisfied that we have made just the round of eight,'' Ivkovic added.

Croatia was 5 of 24 on 3-point attempts, while Serbia hit 5 of 15.
